Family Dog (SNES)

Awwwwwwwww.

What? You've never seen a dog sitting on a picture frame before? This seems to be a platformer, you've got to jump all over the furniture to collect doggie treats someone has carelessly left scattered in the air. Or you can ignore them and just walk to the right to leave the level. If you want.

It doesn't matter how much I dig at this carpet, I never dig up anything cool.

Most of the appeal of this game comes just from watching the dog, he's got a new stupid expression for everything he does.

Oh look, a cat. I bet this is like Dennis the Menace, and I'll come across 20 of these darn cats before I escape this house.

This kid makes excellent use of the cover available, I'll give him that. He pops out with a water pistol and shoots at you. But he's easy enough to evade. He doesn't even turn around when you get past him.

Seems like these people have a book infestation. These things are crawling all over the shelves and flying around, making it hard to get up here. Jumping in the game is kinda awkward, it seems like you've got either a high jump or a long jump, depending on the direction you hold the d-pad while jumping, and neither is quite what you'd like.

How many TVs do they have in this room anyway? The furniture keeps repeating so much I thought I might have just been running laps of theroom.

Finally, level 2! Nice to have a change of scenery. You have to keep one step ahead of the kid, jumping over toys and ducking when he fires.

Or you could just quit, like this!
